When ever we go in our cars we revel at the high speeds that we can get. These high speeds sometimes make various people get together for high speed racing through the deserted streets and back roads. For these cars to get that high speed racing capability their auto transmissions have been tweaked or more accurately changed.

Usually our cars have all of the parts in the engine working perfectly but they are designed for road safety. Therefore when you want to racing you need a car engine that won't get heated up at very high speeds.

So what you will do is to make sure that your auto transmission can give you a nice steady amount of power. When the power is coming nicely to the engine the auto transmission can lock the power away from the torque and force that energy towards the auto transmission.

Now having gotten this power you will have to slowly accelerate to the high speeds. This needs to be done so that the power won't cause a burn out before you reach the speeds that you really need. Remember that auto transmissions will only give you the power that you need when you lock the torque converter up.

So having gotten your auto transmission to the state of racing ability what are you going to next. Well besides making sure that you use a fuel mixture that will give you the additional bursts of speed, you need to practice your driving. It is no use having high speed auto transmissions if your driving is going to be terrible.

You can practice this new high speed racing on deserted race tracks. These are great places to drive your modified cars at really high speeds. As there aren't any other cars you can hear if there are any problems that seem to developing with your cars auto transmission.

Make sure that you have a friend who knows something about mechanics because you many need this help if any type of problem crops up. The presence of your friend can let an outside person evaluate the performance of your driving with modified auto transmissions. Now the only real test that you can take with highly tuned auto transmissions is to take the car out for a spin.
